A Pie for a Pi: LaBella Associates Whip Up a Fundraiser

To celebrate the mathematical and culinary beauty of pi[e], LaBella Associates fundraised this year by merging the two, which engineers and architects know and love to no end, by pie-ing coworkers in the face! A group of LaBellans volunteered to take a whipped cream pie in the face for CANstruction on Pi Day (3/14). Coworkers could use the power of their dollar to save one person from a sugary fate, and all the other volunteers graciously took a dessert to the dome for the cause. The fundraiser spanned six offices across eastern New York and raised almost $800! It was a treat for all involved, while raising money for a great cause at the same time.

This year’s LaBella Associates team is filled with plenty of new faces, who are all looking forward to getting their feet wet on the Canstruction beach! The team is excited to bring back some nostalgia from childhood just in time for a new release, with a little blue friend along for the ride.
