Team CSArch Gears Up for a Memorable Build While Reflecting on the Last 15 Years
The longest tenured team of Capital Region CANstruction, CSArch is proud of the impact we’ve made in helping address food insecurity across our region. As we gear up to hit the open road toward our 15th Build Day, we thought it would be the perfect time to take a trip down memory lane and reflect on the last 15 years of CANstruction.
Since 2011, CSArch has collectively donated 44,183 cans, spanning approximately 72 varieties of food, to the Food Pantries for the Capital District. Our most-used food item has been canned tuna, and our total monetary donations have exceeded $10,000. Along the way, we’ve welcomed dozens of new CSArch CANstruction team members, several of whom have been involved since the very beginning of our long and winding journey.
Of course, every great road trip needs a few memorable pit stops. To fund our CANstructures and get us to our Build Day destination, our fundraising efforts have become more creative each year. We’ve hosted Family Fun Days, held inter-office penny war competitions, and even pied firm leadership for the good of giving back to our community. And we’re not hitting the brakes anytime soon! We’re preparing for one of our largest builds yet that is sure to help you rest and recharge after a long day on the Great AmeriCAN Roadtrip.
This year, we’re excited to once again partner with our friends at Common Roots Brewing for another fun-filled event at Common Roots Albany Outpost on Saturday, March 28th. We encourage our fellow CANstruction teams and community members to join us!
