kW Mission Critical Engineering Wishes You Were Here!
Postcard
Welcome to the start of a journey that is about more than just the miles to our final destination. As we journey from Troy, New York, and set our sights on the gleaming Gateway Arch in St. Louis, this year isn't just a record of scenic overlooks and roadside attractions - it’s a chronicle of a mission to end hunger!
The route from the Capitol Region to the Mississippi River spans nearly 900 miles, crossing the heart of the Rust Belt and the expansive Midwest. But as we traverse the I-90 and I-70 corridors, we aren't just passing through these communities; we are stopping to look them in the eye. Food insecurity remains a quiet crisis in many of the towns we’ll visit, and this trip is our small way of bridging the gap starting here in the Capitol Region.
Our "milestones" on this journey aren't just famous landmarks. They are the local participants, our community, and neighborhood involvement where we’ll be collecting non-perishable staples - cans of hearty soup, boxes of pasta, and jars of peanut butter - at every major stop.
The Itinerary of Impact ends at The Gateway (St. Louis, MO): Our final destination. Beneath the shadow of the Gateway Arch—a symbol of westward expansion and new beginnings - we’ll make our final donation to our local mission, completing the circle of the trip.
Join us as we venture towards the sunset, one donation at a time. Because while the Arch is our destination, the people in our local communities are the reason we’re making this journey to end hunger.
